Men's Black Leather Aviator Jacket with Detachable Faux Shearling Collar

The shearling collar is the reason I bought this and it did not disappoint. Takes the jacket from a regular leather bomber to something special. Black leather quality is solid, fit is true to size, and the pockets are deep and useful. Really happy with this.

I've been wearing leather jackets for years and this is the best one I've owned. The black leather is real and substantial, not the thin cheap stuff from a lot of places. The shearling collar is thick and plush and actually functional in cold weather. The detachable feature is something I appreciate more than I expected. On colder days the collar goes on and the jacket is genuinely warm. On milder days the collar comes off and it's a clean classic bomber. I ordered a large and I'm 6'2 and 205 and the fit is perfect. The chest pockets are big and deep. I wear this jacket constantly.

If you're between sizes, definitely go smaller. I ordered a large and normally wear a large but it fits more like an XL on me. Exchanged for a medium and the fit was much better. Jacket itself is really nice, the black leather is quality, shearling collar is great, and the overall design is exactly what I wanted. Four stars just for the sizing inconsistency, once I got the right size I was really happy.

The collar does look right. It has that vintage aviator quality that you can't really describe until you see it in person. The black leather is clearly real and has a nice weight. I'm 5'10 and ordered a medium and it fits great, enough room to move but not baggy. The two chest pockets are deep and practical. Leather started a little stiff but softened noticeably by the second week of wear. This jacket has already gotten more use than anything else in my closet.

Without the collar it's a great leather jacket. With the collar it's exceptional. The detachable shearling is the feature that makes this different from every other black jacket I own. Quality leather, good fit, big useful pockets. Recommend.

The collar itself looks and feels great, really thick and plush. My issue is the snaps that hold it on are a bit fiddly and took me a few tries to figure out the alignment. Once you know how they work it's fine but the first few times were frustrating. Leather quality is great, fit is spot on, and the jacket looks amazing. Four stars for the collar attachment learning curve.
