Men's Distressed Brown Leather Bomber Jacket with Shirt Collar

My son bought this for Father's Day. He said he'd been debating for weeks because he wasn't sure if I was a leather jacket person. I've been wearing it almost every week since he gave it to me and I think that answers his question. The fit is really good, true to his size guess which was spot on. It has a worn-in look right from the start, not stiff and brand-new looking, which I appreciate. I'm sixty-two and it doesn't look like I'm trying too hard. My wife said it was the best thing he'd picked out. I told him to trust himself more often.

My wardrobe was basically the same grey and navy rotating for years. My wife kept telling me to try something different. Finally tried this and she hasn't stopped telling me how good it looks ever since. First time in a while I've been excited to put on a jacket. Fits well, looks like money, and the brown works with everything I already own.

Told myself I'd come back after a few months. Five months in. I wear it at least twice a week. The leather is in the same condition as when it arrived, maybe even better because it's broken in slightly. The brown has a nice depth to it in different light. Ribbed hem and cuffs are intact. It's been rained on a couple of times and just wiped clean. My boss commented on it after two months, asked where I got it. Sent him the link. He ordered one and wore it to a client dinner. Two jackets from one review. Not bad.

I've worn this basically every day for the past three weeks. It's just the easiest jacket to reach for. Doesn't require any thought. Fits great, brown is neutral enough for everything. This is the jacket I was missing.

My college roommate and I hadn't talked in a couple of months. Randomly got a text from him after seeing a photo my wife posted online, asking about the jacket. He thought I'd found some vintage piece. Had to send him this link. We talked on the phone for the first time in months partly about a leather jacket which is funny. The fit is genuinely excellent, true to size, and the brown works with everything in a way that black sometimes doesn't. There's a softness to it already that I didn't expect. Wore it to a casual dinner, a farmers market, running errands. Looked right every time.

Not a typical camping jacket but I brought this on a camping weekend because the nights were cool. Wore it around the fire, wore it on a morning trail, wore it on the drive home. It worked for all of it. Guys on the trip were asking about it by day two. Something about this jacket works in nature as much as it does in the city.

I wasn't planning to buy a jacket. Was browsing at midnight and just bought it. Woke up the next morning a little unsure. It arrived and I immediately felt fine about it. Fits well, looks exactly like the product photos. I've worn it to more places than I can count since. Spontaneous decisions don't usually work out this well for me.
