It reeks of leather, smells like some kind of leather store when my wife wears it, which leads me to believe it is real leather. It did not come with any marking of leather, so I googled some tests to do and it passed all of them. The texture is great, the fitment is perfect and the smell is, well ok. My wife loves it and wears it all the time.

      I am 5.1ft - 120 lbs and I got the XS. I originally got the small thinking I had like the extra room but it was too large. XS fits perfectly that I can fit some thin layers underneath. The jacket is not lined but it keeps me warm in Bay area weather (60s F) so definitely not for winter unless layered. The jacket itself has two inside pockets that are pretty long. However.. It is still a great fitting everyday jacket and would recommend if you are looking for a asymmetrical jacket for chilly mornings.
